How do I set up my Email Hosting email to work with my Gmail account?

Please note: As of January 2026, Gmail no longer supports connecting to or fetching emails from non-Gmail accounts. You can find more details here.

If you use a GreenixMedia/GreenixHosting email address with Gmail, please access your email through webmail, or use any other third-party email client. If you would like, you can use Gmail for sending emails via SMTP plugin. These are some popular ones:  FluentSMTP, WP Mail SMTP, and EasyWP SMTP

Setting up your incoming email with Gmail:

  • Log into Gmail.
  • On the right hand side click the Settings wheel.
  • From the dropdown, select “Settings” and then the tab “Accounts and Import“.
  • Half way down the page click the link “Add a POP3 mail account you own”. You will now be greeted with a popup.
